In general, the world seems to be in the same shit state as usual. The Doomsday clock moved another tick towards midnight, which I'd tend to agree with as the US expands it's Long War of Full Spectrum Global Domination into Yemen, looking more and more like a desperate scramble to pick up as many countries on the RISK board as possible before China and Russia stand up to tell them to SIT the fuck down.
Oh, and hey: anything the US can do...
